I’ve been drawing all my life, from as far back as I remember, long before I had any notion of being an artist. I gradually became aware, over many years, that there were ways I could make a living out of this interest, and I learned the traditions and perspectives that threw a structured light on the activity. I’m interested particularly in drawing from life, which I still do a couple of afternoons a week. I also use drawing to plan and develop ideas for paintings. I love doing it and looking at the work of other artists, and I’m delighted to be able to share some of mine.
